MEET GRACE & HOPE COLLECTIVE
By Elizabeth N. Jordahl & Kathryn G. Wyckoff
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. - Eph. 2:8-9
“Dreams don’t work unless you do.” — John C. Maxwell
Hi and welcome to the Grace and Hope Collective! We are so glad to have you here! We are Katie Wyckoff and Beth Jordahl, sisters who have been in love with all thing's simplicity, organization and beauty since we were kids.
We started the collective in 2023. There was a dream in our hearts of a sweet store that served women just like us. Those who wanted to spend their money wisely on things that blessed their space, enabled them to live their best lives, and sparked joy. Along the way, we have put so much thought into each product, design and idea with the hope that it can help and serve you.
We want to be a place full of grace and hope for the everyday. Making magic out of the mundane. Today I wanted to take a minute to tell you more about us, this store and our dreams for the future.
ELIZABETH NADINE
“You are never too old to set a new goal or to dream a new dream.” C.S. Lewis
Hi, I’m Elizabeth! I’m a mom of two awesome little girls, Lucy is 6 and Abby is 4. I am married to my best friend, Peter, who makes most of the meals in our house and is great at creating forts. He is a sleep tech, which means he works nights and helps people to get the sleep they need! His super unique work schedule has given our family lots of freedom! It means that he and I work together to homeschool our kids, and I get to work part-time at our church as the Director of Family Ministries. I am also lucky enough to teach dance, a little bit on the side. And of course, I love to start businesses with my sister!
In my spare time, I love to read! Reading alone, with my kids, or listening to audio books. We are all constantly enjoying good books! We also love to travel together. My kids are great on road trips or even in new situations. My newest hobbies are cooking and knitting! I am learning to enjoy a good recipe, specifically baking my own bread. Knitting has definitely been an adventure! But I am enjoying the challenge.
I am a person of lots of dreams! Someday, I hope to get my PhD. A PhD in what, I'm not sure yet. I hope to become a published author. I hope to live in Europe, or at the very least go there a lot! And I also hope to create something beautiful, worthwhile and lasting. This store feels like an amazing stepping stone to get there!
"Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this." - Psalm 37:4-5
KATHRYN GRACE
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” — Walt Disney
Hi I’m Kathryn! I’m an entrepreneur, theatre geek, and dog mom! I love Jesus and my family. Currently I’m living at home with my parents and triplet younger siblings. Living with my family has given me the unique opportunity to work on growing two businesses while not having to stress about a mortgage and having a built-in dog sitter when traveling. My first job and passion was theatre which has just tied into creating reels and tiktoks for our companies.
When I’m not working or helping the family you will probably find me reading a book (or several). One of my favorite ways is audio books because I can do other things at the same time. (Definitely a multi-taskers). While reading I might be crocheting, knitting, or doing macrame. I love creating beautiful things whether it is graphic design, crafting, or taking pictures. I also enjoy swing dancing, spending time with my sweet dog, going on adventures, and playing board games!
One of the things I love to do is come alongside others and help build up their dreams. That is one of the reasons I’m so excited about this store. I’m excited to lift up others through our blog, social media, and products. Giving you products that will help you share your faith and support yourself care/mental health!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. - Romans 15:13
OUR COMPANY
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Eleanor Roosevelt
The name Grace & Hope originates from our middle names. Kathryn GRACE and Elizabeth NADINE (which means Hope!). Our goal with our companies has always been to create a space that is led with both grace and hope. A way to be a light in the world, and to bless others.
It all started originally with a social media management company. We loved helping people reach their audience through social media. Yet, it wasn’t exactly what we were looking for. So while we still serve several individuals and companies in the social media space, we decided to expand our reach!
Then an opportunity arrived for this beautiful store! Our amazing store designer, April from Savvy Associates, helped us create what is now Grace & Hope Collective. A place for other women who want to bring their faith into their life to find gifts, clothes, and other perfect things.
This is just the beginning! We want to continue to seek out new artists, new items and dream up even more ways to serve YOU!
WHAT’S NEXT?
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. - 2 Cor. 12:9-10
We are so excited for all that we are hoping to do here at the Collective. We can’t wait to bring you new artists, new products, more blog posts, and even more. Make sure you are following us on your favorite social media platform! Don’t forget to sign up for our emails as well, so that you don’t miss any of the things here at the Collective.
